Job summary

Insight Global in Indianapolis is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Project Manager to support existing warehouse operations and inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments. The role focuses on loading/unloading Vertical Lift Modules, replenishment strategies, auto-replenishment for technicians, and maintaining inventory accuracy via Maximo.

You will coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 4+ years of inventory control/parts management experience.
• 4+ years of Project Management / Execution experience.
• Strong data analytics background and well versed in MS Excel.
• Proven experience in inventory forecasting, using data analytics and historical trends.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience building partnerships with vendors.
• FedEx system experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and adjust replenishment levels and the auto-replenishment processes for technician vehicles.

This role focuses on ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, and alignment with operational strategies. This role will work closely with parts center staff to support smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies for loading and unloading Vertical Lift Modules, analyzing and adjusting replenishment levels, and the auto-replenishment processes for technician vehicles. The position also involves maintaining inventory accuracy through the CMMS platform (Maximo), coordinating with supply vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery while identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support operational goals.

Skills and Requirements
