Insight Global is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in Virginia, Minnesota to lead daily warehouse operations and enhance logistics efficiency. The role requires 8-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, promoting safety, accountability, and team development.
The successful candidate will manage inventory systems, oversee logistics coordination, and implement lean improvements. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor or SAP is essential. This full-time position is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put away, picking, kitting, staging, transfers and shipping.
Design and improve warehouse layout, storage strategies, and material flow processes.
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, discrepancy analysis, and corrective actions.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics including freight coordination and shipment prioritization.
Partner with purchasing, planning, engineering, and production teams to resolve material flow challenges.
Own warehouse execution within ERP and warehouse systems, ensuring accurate transactions.
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Lead, train, and develop a team of 6 to 10 employees.
Establish clear work instructions, performance expectations, and productivity standards.
Identify inefficiencies and implement lean improvements to optimize operations.
8 to 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management.
Experience working in an engineer-to-order or project-based manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse management systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Oracle.
Experience managing and leading warehouse teams.
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Lean or continuous improvement training or certification.
Forklift or material handling equipment oversight experience.
APICS certification.
Monday through Friday, 8 to 5.
1.5 hour in-person interview focused on core competencies and leadership.
Final onsite panel interview with leadership team.
