Job summary

dfa is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Minnesota facility. The role oversees shift operations, schedules staff, manages inventory accuracy, and coordinates with internal and external partners to meet customer demands.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, forklift certification, and a bachelor's degree. The 2nd shift runs 1PM-10PM, Monday–Friday with additional weekend duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse, cooler, distribution, production, logistics, or related environment with leadership attributes
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Forklift Operator Certification required
• OHSA 30 preferred
• Additional Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and monitor work, and provide clear direction to warehouse/cooler employees to meet business needs
• Assist with design and implementation of work methods and procedures for shipments and inventory control
• Maintain and reconcile inventories; ensure month-end inventories are accurate and timely
• Communicate production needs with sales and production to anticipate requirements
• Coordinate with outside warehouses, suppliers and customers to maintain stock
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure efficient stock for plant or location success
• Inspect warehouse and equipment for safety and regulatory compliance
• Promote safe work behaviors and conduct safety meetings and training as needed
• Oversee scheduling and daily activities, including time records and performance management
• Resolve employee grievances with HR and plant management; participate in contract discussions
• Document procedures for production efficiency, quality and safety
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods, equipment performance and costs
• Complete other duties as assigned
