Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct and coordinate warehouse/cooler staff on the 2nd shift, ensuring accurate and timely material movement, inventory control, and safe operations.

Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a related field, 2–5 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Forklift certification and OSHA-30 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics or related field.
• 2–5 years in warehouse, cooler, distribution, production, or logistics with leadership experience.
• Forklift certification required; OHSA 30 preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and monitor work to meet business needs.
• Design and implement work methods and procedures for receiving, handling and inventory.
• Maintain and reconcile inventories; finish month-end counts accurately.
• Estimate material needs and coordinate with sales and production.
• Assist purchasing to maintain planned inventory levels and track orders.
• Coordinate with outside warehouses, suppliers and customers.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and manage employee performance and discipline.
• Promote safety, investigate incidents, and support safety meetings.
