U.S. Sugar is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping, receiving, and storage of inventory on a rotating shift. The role involves operating heavy equipment and performing physical labor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, labeling inventory, staging materials, and ensuring security and safety compliance. Candidates must pass drug tests, have basic computer skills, and be able to read measurements.

Formación

• Must have and maintain oral and written English proficiency to understand instructions and safety procedures.
• Must be 18 years or older with a good work/disciplinary history.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License (Class E) or above.
• New hires must pass drug testing and pre-employment background screening.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to interpret measurements and parts requisitions.
• Must be physically able to perform job duties, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must have color vision to identify color-coded materials.
• Forklift certification within 30 days where necessary.
• Must be able to read and apply measurements using measuring tapes, scales, and other tools.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and manage warehouse processes including shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, and transporting inventory.
• Receive shipments via computerized system and verify against documents; report discrepancies.
• Label, store, and maintain inventory locations; ensure accurate quantities.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory checks using barcode scanners.
• Assemble kits from inventory and stage materials for shipments or transfers.
• Monitor access to warehouse spaces and report security concerns to supervisor.
• Move and relocate materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work areas; follow PPE requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and complete required trainings and safety classes.
