Job summary

Rockline Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Dispatcher for Rotating 1st Shift in Sheboygan, WI. The role supports inbound/outbound shipments, load planning, and carrier coordination on a 5:00 AM–5:00 PM 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Minimum 4 years in logistics and experience with dispatch are preferred. Responsibilities include preparing paperwork, directing carriers, and ensuring timely loading while maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required (or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Warehouse flow.
• 4 years of work experience in Logistics (Warehouse Shipping and Receiving) and familiarity of transportation modes preferred.
• Prior dispatch experience is desirable.
• Prior experience with JD Edwards preferred.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic Understanding of Microsoft Office family of products (Excel - graphs, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify whether a carrier is inbound/outbound/preload/live load/drop load.
• Complete paperwork (sign, date, update yard management, and load confirm).
• Direct outside carriers to the correct doors or lot location.
• Coordinate live load/preload and check short items (DOT) and correct when possible.
• Troubleshoot shipping order issues and complete BOLs for completed loads.
• Email and scan BOLs and pack lists as requested; communicate shift change to ensure smooth transition.

Shift: Rotating 1st Shift (A); 2-2-3 Rotation 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $22.64 per hour minimum

• Eligible to start higher based on experience!
• This position is part of the Yearly Review System and is eligible for yearly raises based on performance.

Essential Accountabilities: Under the direction of the Asset Leader, the Dispatcher will be responsible for ensuring that we meet or exceed our customer’s (internal and external) expectations and goals in all areas while maintaining costs, integrities, processes, and procedures

• Identify whether a carrier is the following: inbound/outbound/preload/live load/drop load.
• Complete paperwork (sign, date, update yard management, and load confirm).
• Direct outside carriers to the correct doors or lot location.
• Determine live load/preload.
• Check short items (DOT) and correct when possible.
• Troubleshoot shipping order issues.
• Complete BOL’s for completed loads.
• Email and scan BOL’s and pack lists as requested.
• Communicate when shopping list is out.
• Communicate When live loads arrive.
• Coordinate Co-Pack outbound loads and complete ST/OT and bills.
• Approve GAC Loads.
• Communicate with internal drivers
• Scan confirmed loads into Docushare
• Communicate at shift change what is currently happening to ensure a smooth transition
• Product Security Sensitive - As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these "outbound" shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.
