The role emphasizes strong communication, supervising drivers and material handlers, maintaining DOT compliance, safety, and training. This is a first shift, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits in a long‑standing distributor renowned for service.

Qualifications

• Three years of delivery and warehouse operations experience in a distribution setting.
• At least three months of lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of traffic rules and local layouts; ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective delivery of customer and branch orders.
• Address and resolve daily delivery problems.
• Evaluate delivery fleet and recommend equipment changes to maximize effectiveness.
• Assist with training for delivery drivers and material handlers.
• Manage all DOT records and enforce safety policies and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment and investigate safety incidents.
