Job summary

Scandinavian Designs Furniture - Dania Furniture is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Clearwater, FL team. This full-time position offers a $20 per hour wage and requires lifting capabilities, forklift readiness, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities include handling merchandise safely, loading/unloading, order verification, and showroom support. A high school diploma or GED is required, with pre-employment screening and potential travel for deliveries.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service, team, and communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability.
Able to read and understand work orders, shipping and receiving paperwork.
Able to lift a min. of 75 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.
Able to obtain and maintain forklift training and certification.
Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks, jacks, hand tools, 4-wheeler and hand truck.
Basic math, computer, and POS skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Have a valid state issued driver’s license.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Create a best-in-class customer experience for every customer, every time.
Maintain knowledge of product dimensions, weight, materials, assembly, and construction.
Transport, locate, load and unload merchandise safely and professionally.
Use a computer terminal to look up customer and merchandise information.
Match product to invoice, packing slip or bill of lading and ensure orders are paid in full.
Handle and assemble merchandise with care to prevent damage.
Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise and keeping displays neat.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace and with equipment.
Follow safety procedures and observe safe lifting methods.
May travel to customer locations for delivery, assembly, or repair.
