Job summary

SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNS - DANIA FUNITURE is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Irvine, CA. This full-time, non-exempt position involves storing, moving and assembling furniture, with duties ranging from loading/unloading to showroom upkeep.

You will need physical stamina, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and basic math/POS skills, plus forklift training as required. A valid driver’s license and 18+ years old are required, with background checks as part of pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs unassisted.
Valid state driver’s license and 18+ years old.
Forklift training and certification, as necessary.
Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand tools, 4-wheeler).
Basic math, computer and POS skills with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class customer experience for every customer.
Store, move and assemble merchandise with safe handling.
Transport, locate, load and unload merchandise to vehicles and within warehouse.
Use computer terminal to look up customer and product information.
Match product to invoices and ensure orders are paid in full.
Maintain clean, organized showroom and backroom; restock as needed.
Follow safety procedures and safe lifting methods.
May travel to customer location for delivery, assembly or repair.
Perform other duties as directed.
