Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Florham Park, NJ seeks a Material Handler/Driver to receive, fill, ship, and transport products to customers and stores. You will operate forklifts, stock, pick orders, and maintain safety compliance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include driving company vehicles, verifying shipments, handling hazardous materials paperwork, and maintaining accurate records using RF scanners and ERP systems. A valid license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of truck driving experience or experience operating Johnstone equipment.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• English proficiency is required for clear communication in safety and delivery tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, fill, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe operations per DOT and company standards.
• Perform route planning, loading/unloading, and ensure proper paperwork and labeling.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners; stock, pick, and pack items to minimize damage.
• Participate in inventory and safety procedures; maintain clean, organized warehouse.
