Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, has a great opportunity to join our team in Cranford, NJ. The Material Handler/Driver will receive, fill, and ship products efficiently while ensuring safe transport to customers and store locations.

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm with some Saturdays; pay ranges from $19 to $30 per hour depending on CDL status and endorsements. This role requires valid license, forklift certification, and strong customer service and

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment/vehicles under supervision.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.

Responsabilidades

• Operates basic power equipment (i.e. electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) daily to locate, put away, and move products.
• Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Ensures shipments are in good condition and accurate by inspecting freight and signing freight bills.
• Verifies bar codes and stock numbers by scanning products and printing labels.
• Fills orders by picking and packing items into cartons and stacking them.
• Documents the shipment of hazardous materials by labeling cartons correctly.
• Prepares orders for shipment by palletizing, wrapping, and loading into trucks.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness; follows SOPs and completes paperwork.
