Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, a member of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Associate to pull orders, load and deliver materials to customer sites, and support the sales team with accuracy and a safety-first mindset.

This entry-level role offers training, on-the-job learning, a strong benefits package, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide distributor. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid license, and maintain excellent driving records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.
• 21+ years old.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle and complete driver logs and inspections.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to customers.
• Use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capabilities, and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling orders when needed.
• Keep warehouse and outside areas neat and clean.
• Uphold Summit's safety practices in the workplace.
