Job summary

Stoneway Electric Supply Company is seeking a Warehouse-Delivery Driver to receive and place inventory, pick and pack orders, and deliver goods to various locations. You will load/unload trucks, maintain inventory, and learn delivery routes and customer preferences.

A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED are required. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, with full benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED and at least six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current medical certification card or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Receive and place inventory into stock.
• Pick and pack orders for delivery.
• Deliver and/or pick up goods to specified locations.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Perform warehouse housekeeping and inventory control.
• Become familiar with delivery routes and customers' preferences.
• Assist with material handling, shipping and receiving duties as needed.

Physical Demands

The job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, occasional sitting, talking, and hearing. Lifting and carrying loads ranging from 1 to 100 lbs. (1–20 lbs. continuously, 21–50 lbs. frequently, 51–100 lbs. occasionally, with buddy lifts or mechanical assistance advised).
