The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities at the branch warehouse as well as the management and upkeep of the warehouse environment. The warehouse coordinator reports into the regional logistics manager. You will serve as a primary liaison with branch personnel, assuming the role of a service provider for branch operations. In this capacity, you will receive guidance from local operations management to ensure the timely delivery of our products to job sites. This particular role will involve warehouse / logistic responsibilities but mainly driving deliveries to customer sites.

This job will require driving a 15-foot box truck and a regular company delivery van from our Rockaway, NJ warehouse to customer locations throughout the NYC & New Jersey areas. As of right now the schedule would be: Mondays & Thursdays - NYC | Wednedsays & Fridays - all throughout New Jersey | Tuesdays - Upper Manhattan.

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will:

• Receive inbound deliveries, move parts and materials into inventory and/or job stock, pick parts and materials for outbound deliveries
• Drive to customer sites and outbound deliveries will be part of this daily role
• Process all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure, create shipping papers using the preferred carriers' software application
• Support the service van parts replenishment process, keep accurate inventory levels and participate in the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure, execute the goods return procedure for the branch
• Communicate with internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand, retain documentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory
• Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse, enforce and maintain safety in the warehouse, adhere to standard warehouse guidelines and follow Siemens' policies
• Provide detail-orientation, accuracy, and organization in all work
• Promote safety-first attitude

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
• 3+ years of experience driving a company truck/vehicle in a delivery capacity (CDL license not required)
• must have experience with driving a 15-foot box truck or similar vehicle
• must be willing and able to drive in NYC
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to drive a Siemens' fleet vehicle
• On-the-job experience with:
• warehouse material handling - movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment
• working with various functions (e.g., project managers, service technicians)
• customer service responsiveness
• Ability to work independently (supervised remotely)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Variety of supply chain management experience
• 5+ years' experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function
• SAP - IM (Inventory Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules; other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.)

• The pay range for this position is $47,800 - $81,900 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
