Job summary

Telluride Ski & Golf is seeking a capable Warehouse/Delivery Associate to manage on-mountain deliveries and on-site warehouse organization in the Telluride area. You will handle deliveries, coordinate with haul cat crews during winter, and ensure invoices match deliveries.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar setting, proficiency with accounting tools, Excel, and Word, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed. Employee housing is available and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Deliveries of food and beverage to outlets with accurate and timely execution.
  • Maintain and organize warehouse, ensuring correct labeling and locations.
  • Process transfers and requisitions for Foodtrak inventory.
  • Communicate transfers and invoices to outlets; report shortages.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and adhere to policies and safety rules.

Job description

Summary

Manages deliveries or requisitioned items to various outlets. Responsible for organization of warehouse. Receives deliveries and ensures invoices are accurate. FTYR Tuesday through Saturday. Will be operating a company vehicle. Coordinates with haul cat crew for on mountain deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliveries
    • Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of food and beverage to outlets
    • Coordinates deliveries with haul cat crew during the winter
    • Coordinates pickups for trash and linen in the summer
  • Responsible for warehouse organization
    • Ensure items stay in their labeled location
    • Communicates with Warehouse manager to maintain appropriate pars
    • Empties trash and recycling for the warehouse
    • Responsible for waste management schedule
    • Keeps floors and surfaces clean and free of debris, wiped, moped and swept.
    • Other duties as needed.
  • Foodtrak maintenance
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control thru proper processing of transfers and requisitions
    • Ensures invoices are accurate when delivered
    • Puts away deliveries in coordinating locations
    • Emails each outlets with transfers and invoices. Communicates shortages as well
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations
  • Supports Telluride Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives
  • Adheres to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act

Education And/or Experience

1-2 years of experience in similarly challenging role with demonstrated success in an environment of increasing responsibility.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with a variety of different Accounting programs, Internet explorer, Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to interpret bar graphs.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, packing slips, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Other Qualifications
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as job requires
  • Must be able to function effectively at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to take Snowmobile safety training and drive snowmobile occasionally
  • Must be able to operate hand truck and pallet jack.
  • Must be able to drive (forward and in reverse,) park, and operate lift gate of flatbed pickup.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures range from sub-zero in freezers to comfortable office environment temperatures. It is often cold in the warehouse, therefore adequate clothing is recommended.

The wage for this position is $22-25.00/hr.
