Job summary

EECO is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver in Norfolk to pick and prepare customer orders, then deliver them on time with excellent service. You will use handheld scanners, operate material handling equipment, and help maintain inventory control.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in order fulfillment or delivery, a clean driving record, ability to pass a DOT exam, and HS diploma or GED. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50–70 lbs and driving a 10-ton stake truck.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years order fulfillment and/or product delivery experience.
• DOT physical and drug screen passed are required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift/move/stack up to 50 lbs and occasionally 70 lbs.
• Ability to drive a 10-ton stake truck.
• RF scan gun experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately selecting items from warehouse inventory and preparing orders for shipment.
• Safely delivering orders to customers on time with strong customer service.
• Communicating with customers and warehouse management regarding delays.
• Safely loading and unloading from large motor vehicles.
• Operating a forklift with proper training and certification and other material handling equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
