Job summary

EECO is hiring a Warehouse/Delivery Driver in Lynchburg to support the Sales Team with safe and efficient product deliveries. The role involves warehouse tasks and potential shift between duties to meet customer needs, including maintaining VMI storerooms and accurate order processing.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of customer service/warehousing experience, be able to pass a DOT physical, and be comfortable operating a forklift. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver responsibilities require good customer service and warehousing basics.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Electrical industry experience or inventory management experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift/move stock up to 50 lbs; up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to drive a 10-ton stake truck and box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time with strong customer service.
• Communicate delays to customers and warehouse management.
• Maintain customer VMI storerooms with counts and organization.
• Process materials, loading onto/off large motor vehicle.
• Operate forklift with proper training and certification.
• Keep the workspace clean and promote warehouse efficiencies.
• Support cycle counts, picking, packing, and putaway as needed.
• Ensure order accuracy from receipt to shipment.
