Job summary

Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) in Norfolk, VA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to pick and deliver equipment with accuracy and top-notch service.

You will use handheld scanners, operate a forklift, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and inventory controls.

Candidates should be 18+, able to pass DOT, have HS diploma or GED, and 2–3 years of order fulfillment or delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of order fulfillment or delivery experience; electrical industry a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally 70lbs; drive a 10-ton stake truck.
• Experience with RF scan guns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately selecting items from warehouse inventory using handheld scanner and preparing the order for shipment.
• Safely delivering the order to customers on time while providing an elevated level of customer service.
• Communication to customers and warehouse management with solution-oriented thinking in the event of unforeseen delivery delays.
• Safely loading on and off of large motor vehicle.
• Ability to safely operate forklift with proper training and certification and other material handling equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area and environment.
