Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver I to efficiently fill customer orders, receive and stock materials, and manage shipping in a fast-paced, safety‑driven distribution environment.

This role blends warehousing duties with driving responsibilities up to 50% of time, requiring a valid license, DOT compliance, and a safety-minded approach. No CDL is required, on-site training is provided, and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• High School or GED - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Receive and verify incoming materials against packing lists.
• Prepare branch orders for shipment and ensure correct items are sent.
• Operate forklift and related equipment.
• Deliver materials to customers when assigned.
• Maintain safety and organization in the warehouse.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Report any discrepancies or safety concerns.
