Job summary

Taylor Logistics Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Cycle Counter in West Chester, OH to support quality audits, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations in a busy facility.

You will perform cycle counts, location audits, and date code/quantity changes, assist customer service, and back up the Inventory/Quality Control Clerk as needed. Must have 1–2 years RF gun experience and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Cycle Counter with Taylor Warehouse, your role is central to our business and to the operation of a safe, quality 169-year-old business. This position is located in West Chester, OH and reports to the Inventory/Quality Control Clerk and Floor Lead. This position helps with the audit/quality duties below and may take on additional projects or help with other warehouse duties as required.

Warehouse Cycle Counter Responsibilities

• Quality audits such as:
• Product location validation
• Put-away audits
• Cycle Counts
• Location audits
• Pallet checks
• Combining error checks
• Audit for damage or infestation
• Picking audits
• Support warehouse customer service representatives
• Cycle Counter will also assist with quality duties such as date code changes and quantity changes
• Cycle Counter will serve as back up for the Inventory/Quality Control Clerk and support for any required quality projects.

Requirements

Warehouse Operator Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years experience with RF guns and warehouse procedures
• Ability to learn and understand complex processes
• Ability to accurately and safely maneuver a fork lift truck and other warehouse equipment in a busy warehouse environment
• Ability to learn and use various computer software
• Attention to quality
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment and materials
• Reliable attendance
• High school diploma

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This position requires work in a warehouse environment with loud noises and changing/challenging climates (hot/cold based on the season). You must be able to bend, grasp, kneel, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. You must also be capable of deft finger movements for control of the forklift and use of the RF gun.
