Warehouse Customer Service Operations Assistant

Location & Compensation

Location: 565 S Pinnacle, Romeoville, IL 60446

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (hours may change based on business needs)

Role Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service support
• Interact with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies, ensuring on-time delivery
• Accurately enter data into the OnTrac system and verify deliveries

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of related industry experience or training in transportation/delivery, or equivalent education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, self-manage, and work efficiently under stress
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred

Key Duties

• Track package deliveries, document issues, research problems, and update tracking systems
• Assist drivers with delivery preparations and verify outgoing packages
• Communicate with customers regarding their package status when needed
• Analyze daily compliance and prepare reports for management
