Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Warehouse Custodian in Los Angeles to maintain clean and orderly areas such as offices and industrial spaces, while adhering to safety policies. Responsibilities include shipping prep, loading/unloading, labeling, inventory care, and daily log completion.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (no prior experience required) with potential forklift certification. Shift is Sunday through Thursday, 6:00pm–2:30am, at a rate of $19–$20/hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean work area and follows safety rules and procedures.
• Prepares finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Loads and unloads goods and supplies and ensures proper handling.
• Packs, labels and tags inventory in the warehouse.
• Keeps track of damaged inventory and maintains warehouse quality.
• Performs preventive maintenance on forklift, truck, and railcar.
• Moves waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
• Completes daily logs.
• Executes supervisor orders and collaborates with team members.
• Uses proper personal protective equipment.
• Understands customer service and satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintains clean work area and complies with company safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops at risk behavior of others and self.
• Prepares finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Loads and unloads goods and supplies and ensures proper handling.
• Packs, labels and tags the inventory in the warehouse.
• Maintains quality in the warehouse and keeps track of all damaged inventory.
• Performs preventive maintenance on forklift, truck, and/or railcar.
• Moves waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
• Completes daily logs.
• Carries out all orders of the supervisors and works with fellow workers and other team members.
• Uses proper personal protective equipment.
• Understands customer service and satisfaction.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements . Maybe required to be forklift certified. Completed all safety and task training certifications.
