Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a warehouse associate to perform essential duties in a safe and efficient manner. You will prepare products for shipping, load/unload items, and maintain accurate inventory labeling and logs.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with a typical evening shift from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at SBM facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• No prior work experience required.
• Valid driver\'s license may be required for this position.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Safety and task training certifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential warehouse duties safely and satisfactorily.
• Prepare finished product for shipping with shrink wrap, boxing, labeling.
• Load and unload goods; ensure proper handling.
• Pack, label and tag inventory.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow safety rules.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintains clean work area and complies with company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stops at risk behavior of others and self.
• Prepares finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Loads and unloads goods and supplies and ensures proper handling.
• Packs, labels and tags the inventory in the warehouse.
• Maintains quality in the warehouse and keeps track of all damaged inventory.
• Performs preventive maintenance on forklift, truck, and/or railcar.
• Moves waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
• Completes daily logs.
• Carries out all orders of the supervisors and works with fellow workers and other team members.
• Uses proper personal protective equipment.
• Understands customer service and satisfaction.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements .
• Maybe required to be forklift certified.
• Completed all safety and task training certifications.
