Job description

Position Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including parts handling, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. This role requires experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), the ability to work at heights, and a high level of accuracy and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Perform put‑away, replenishment, and inventory transactions within the warehouse management system.
  • Load and unload trucks while verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Work at elevated heights (via order picker or similar equipment) to retrieve and store materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Support cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Adapt to multiple warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, and material movement as business needs require.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment required.
  • Certified or experienced in operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
  • Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment where required.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and shift priorities as needed (versatility).
  • Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems preferred (Epicor, SAP, Infor, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours per day, use hands and arms to handle materials and equipment, and may be required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels. The employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
