Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Coordinator. The role supports distribution across the US, operates with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Compensation starts at $24 per hour with a $1 per hour shift premium. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI targets for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load statuses.
• Coordinate workload distribution with Operations Supervisor using WMS on the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Hourly Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift

• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
