Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred
• 1+ year experience as Team Lead preferred
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred
• RF scanner experience required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts for operational efficiency
• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Allocate resources and organize daily work to ensure optimal shift operations
• Inspire team members toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Submit daily reports and propose plans to enhance operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Shift pay $1.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.

• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
