Responsibilities

• Move materials within the distribution center and from the loading platform using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other equipment.
• Receive incoming inventory and supplies, log items into the warehouse system, and stock inventory correctly.
• Read work orders and shipping instructions, follow verbal directions.
• Prepare customer invoices, check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items.
• Inspect inventory for damages or defects and report issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while on premises or operating equipment.
• Track inventory accurately in the system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment.
• Report customer concerns immediately.
• Assist and coach colleagues on warehouse operations, safety, and equipment use.
• Enforce policies for efficient and safe warehouse operations.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to current processes.
• Contribute ideas to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Maintain knowledge of warehouse data systems and perform related tasks.
• May be required to drive company vehicles and deliver supplies while observing DOT and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record of high-quality work.
• Problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to walk or stand for long hours, lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Forklift operation experience; certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
