Overview

Responsible for preparing parts, supplies, and other materials for distribution, and for receiving and processing shipments to the warehouse. Ensure warehouse is stocked with appropriate items and track incoming and outgoing items and shipments.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare parts, supplies, and materials for distribution; receive and process shipments.
2. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts/materials for external and internal customers.
3. Read orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed, and place items in appropriate warehouse locations.
4. Organize and store items by part numbers, size, or type for traceability.
5. Inspect received items for damage and correct quantities; report any discrepancies.
6. Prepare, package, document, and ship parts/materials accurately and timely.
7. Verify outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and filled.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; adhere to quality standards and safety procedures. Wear appropriate PPE (supplied by employer).
9. Complete and maintain paperwork and reporting forms; track incoming and outgoing parts/materials.
10. Order and organize warehouse shipping and packaging supplies.

Qualifications

• Organized and systematic approach to tasks.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer navigation skills; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Education/Experience

Physical Demands

• Lift / carry and push / pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Mostly indoor warehouse work, with some outdoor tasks.
