RPM Wood Finishes Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Coordinator to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in Millersburg, OH. You will ensure products are received, stored, prepared, and shipped accurately and on time, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inventory control, loading and unloading freight, shipping/receiving, order picking and packing, cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with picking, packing, shipping, or receiving preferred.
  • Forklift operation training and safety awareness helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment within required timeframes.
  • Load trailers and organize materials for deliveries and stops.
  • Receive materials and complete paperwork the same day.
  • Replenish inventory daily and maintain accurate levels.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory-control activities.
  • Review back-order reports and communicate order-status to customers.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized; cross-train as needed.

Warehouse Coordinator

Department: Operations

Employment Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

Location: Millersburg, OH

Pay: $19.00-$22.00

About the Position

FinishWorks is looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse Coordinator to support our daily warehouse and inventory operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring products are received, stored, prepared, and shipped accurately and on time.

The Warehouse Coordinator will assist with inventory control, loading and unloading freight, shipping and receiving, order picking and packing, and inventory counts. This individual will also help obtain the proper authorization for deliveries and pickups and provide additional operational support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment within required timeframes.
  • Load trailers according to bills of lading and organize materials to accommodate scheduled deliveries and stops.
  • Receive incoming materials and ensure transactions and paperwork are completed and routed the same day.
  • Replenish warehouse inventory daily.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory-control activities.
  • Review back-order reports and communicate order-status information to customers.
  • Keep the warehouse and assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Cross-train in other departments and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience with picking, packing, shipping, or receiving preferred.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hazardous-material operations is a plus.
  • Forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Good math and measurement skills.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to manage frequent interruptions and work effectively across different functions.
  • Ability to complete assigned responsibilities without continuous supervision.
  • The successful candidate must complete RPM Wood Finishes Group forklift-operation training and obtain a forklift-operation license.
Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, grasping, squatting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, writing, and driving. Employees must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment

This role is performed in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to both hot and cold temperatures. Employees may work in different areas of the facility throughout the shift. The noise level is generally moderate.
