Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Coordinator in Columbia, South Carolina

Position Details

• Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.75 per hour
• Shift premium: $1.00 per hour
• Weekend extra pay: $5.00 per hour
• Schedule: Rotating 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, 2-2-3 schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on)

Requirements

• Warehouse/distribution experience preferred (shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation coordination)
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of WMS systems preferred
• Forklift operation experience preferred (certification may be required)

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks and maintain documentation
• Generate reports and summaries
• Coordinate with other departments, vendors, and customers
• Resolve discrepancies in warehouse, transportation, and inventory
• Update metrics using WMS
• Operate equipment and maintain certifications as needed
• Perform additional duties and overtime as required
