Job summary

CoolSys in Southern California is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods, tools and equipment. You will maintain stock records, manage tool inventory and support purchasing processes.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of warehouse experience, plus 2 years in HVAC or refrigeration. Forklift certification is preferred, and you will work in a safety‑driven team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to, materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ø Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Ø Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
• Ø Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• PURCHASING
• Ø Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
• Ø Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Ø Administers on-line purchasing systems.
• Ø Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• TOOLS, FLEET & INVENTORY
• Ø Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
• Ø Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Ø Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
• Ø Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
• Ø Responsible for tool inventory and control:
• Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools
• Ø Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
• Ø Perform other duties as assigned

Computer Software Knowledge

• Ø Solid working knowledge of use of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

Qualifications

• EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Ø Minimum 3 Years Of Warehouse Experience.
• Ø Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
• Ø Forklift Operating Experience/certification Preferred.
