Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking a warehouse operator-cooler who is forklift certified to perform picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, and loading, unloading, and staging materials for delivery.

You may work at any station or line assigned and operate various equipment in a cooler, freezer, or dock environment. Requirements include a high school diploma/equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or related experience.
• Forklift, walk-behind jack or similar certifications may be required.
• Able to work in a team and contribute to warehouse productivity.
• Able to perform basic math and inventory counts.
• Effective written and spoken English.
• Able to follow directions and work with accuracy.
• Able to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and build orders for outgoing delivery.
• Palletize products and load/unload materials.
• Stage materials for delivery and operate warehouse equipment.
• Work at assigned station or line as needed.

Job description

T.G. Lee Dairyhas immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operator-cooler (forklift certified) to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

RATE OF PAY:

• $21.50 per hour

SCHEDULE AVAILABLE:

• 2 positions will be Mon/Tues from 6:00 pm to 4:30 am and Fri/Sat from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am. Off days will be Sun/Wed/Thurs.
• 4 positions will be Mon-Thurs-Fri-Saturday from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am. Off days will be Sun/Tues/Wed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience
• Certification and/or License – may require forklift, walk behind jack, or other related work certifications
• Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse/cooler team
• Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing (including legible writing)
• Able to perform routine machine adjustments
• Able to adapt to changing situations and perform tasks as assigned
• Able to follow directions
• Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
