Job summary

The Hope Group, A SunSource Company, is a New England leader in fluid power and motion control solutions. We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving Person to unload trucks, verify quantities, and update the Tribute ERP with accurate receiving data.

You will handle inventory, label parts, and maintain and file receiving documents while adhering to OSHA safety standards and company procedures. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving and inventory processes.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or forklift equipment (training may be provided).
• Attention to detail to verify quantities and conditions against paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Receiving — Unload trucks, inspect shipments, verify quantities, and check for damage.
• Inventory Verification — Match packing lists, POs, and system records for accuracy.
• Material Handling — Move product to storage locations; put inventory away in bin locations.
• System Updates — Enter receiving data into the Tribute ERP and apply labeling/barcoding.
• Quality Checks — Report discrepancies and damaged goods; coordinate with Purchasing to resolve.
• Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA and company safety standards; keep dock area organized.
• Maintain receiving documents and files; support process improvements via BMS procedures.

Warehouse Receiving Person

• Inbound Receiving — Unload trucks, inspect shipments, verify quantities, and check for damage.
• Inventory Verification — Match packing lists, purchase orders, and system records to ensure accuracy. Receive customer returns using the CARS system.
• Material Handling — Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment to move product to designated storage locations. Put inventory away in assigned bin locations.
• System Updates — Enter receiving data into the ERP system (Tribute) and apply proper labeling/barcoding.
• Quality Checks — Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods. Using CARS system, create DMR reports and work with Purchasing Team to resolve issues.
• Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times. Keep work area and dock organized and safe.
• Maintain receiving documents and files as required.
• Support The Hope Group Business Management System [BMS] procedures and work instructions by following established processes and supporting their continual improvement.
• Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.
