Job summary

The Hope Group, A SunSource Company, in Northborough, MA, is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Person to unload inbound freight, verify quantities, and route materials into inventory for our high-volume distribution operations.

The ideal candidate will perform inbound receiving, inventory verification, material handling, data entry in Tribute ERP, labeling, and safety compliance while maintaining receiving records and supporting continual process improvement within our BMS framework.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Receiving – Unload trucks, inspect shipments, verify quantities, and check for damage.
• Inventory Verification – Match packing lists, purchase orders, and system records to ensure accuracy.
• Material Handling – Move product using pallet jacks, forklifts, and store in assigned bin locations.
• System Updates – Enter receiving data into the ERP system (Tribute) and apply proper labeling/barcoding.
• Quality Checks – Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods. Create DMR reports and work with Purchasing to resolve issues.
• Safety Compliance – Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times. Keep work area and dock organized and safe.
• Maintain receiving documents and files as required.
• Support The Hope Group BMS procedures and work instructions by following established processes and supporting continual improvement.
• Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested.
