Job summary

Thatcher Chemical seeks a Warehouse Clerk II in Salt Lake City to support loading/unloading, inventory control, and material staging. You will ensure accurate shipments, maintain tidy storage areas, and help label finished goods according to DOT requirements.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, reporting damaged items, and mentoring junior staff while complying with SDS and warehouse documentation. A strong eye for detail and clear communication with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4+ years of experience or associate degree plus 0-2+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse and inventory processes.
• Forklift operation and safe material handling skills.
• Familiarity with SDS, labeling, and warehouse documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to communicate clearly with logistics, production, and QA staff.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as directed.
• Prepare materials for production and coordinate material staging.
• Package and label finished goods according to DOT and internal requirements.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper segregation of chemicals.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or mis-labeled products.
• Train and mentor new Warehouse Clerk 1 employees on daily operations.
