Job summary

Responsibilities

Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork; may assist in daily warehouse closing.
Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size and type; inform management of shortages and assist in inventory counts.
Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over/under shipments, returns; segregate defective product from normal inventory flow; prioritize and pick material to fill orders.
Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment; ensure space for overflow.
Load and unload delivery trucks; lift up to 50 pounds; handle tires heavier than 50 pounds.
Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
Perform periodic facilities maintenance or custodial tasks; assist in daily closing of warehouse.
Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment and staging.
