Job summary

Thatcher Chemical is seeking a Warehouse Clerk II to perform standard shipping, receiving, and material handling with limited supervision. You will verify shipments, prepare materials for production, and maintain organized storage while ensuring compliance with DOT and internal requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2–4+ years of experience, or an associate degree with 0–2+ years.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4+ years experience or an Associate degree with 0–2+ years experience.
• Forklift certification and safe material handling skills are preferred.
• Familiarity with SDS, labeling, and warehouse documentation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as directed.
• Prepare materials for production and coordinate material staging.
• Package and label finished goods according to DOT and internal requirements.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper segregation of chemicals.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or mis-labeled products.
• Train and mentor new Warehouse Clerk 1 employees on daily operations.

Warehouse Clerk II

Intermediate-level warehouse role responsible for performing standard shipping, receiving, and material handling tasks with limited supervision. Ensures accurate documentation and safe movement of chemical products.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as directed.
• Prepare materials for production and coordinate material staging.

Experience

• Familiarity with SDS, labeling, and warehouse documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to communicate clearly with logistics, production, and QA staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current forklift certification.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
