Job summary

Smart Resources Group in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift. Pay ranges from $18–$21 per hour based on experience, with occasional weekend work at a $2/hour differential.

You will receive, organize, move, and track inventory to support a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include confirming incoming shipments, using RF scanners and a warehouse management system, labeling, and ensuring accuracy of stock.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience
• Ability to speak and read English
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Experience with inventory, receiving, or warehouse management systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming products using an RF Scanner and warehouse management system
• Verify the quantity and quality of incoming shipments
• Receive deliveries and returned merchandise according to company procedures
• Label pallets and cartons as needed
• Inspect incoming goods and report shortages or damaged products
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Move, load, unload, and properly store products
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
• Organize products and maintain clean, orderly storage areas
• Inspect warehouse areas for damage, deterioration, and safety concerns
• Meet daily productivity and performance goals
• Follow direction from the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
• Support and encourage teammates to create a positive, team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak and read English
• Experience with inventory, receiving, or warehouse management systems preferred
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage of cartons, boxes, and pallets
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to successfully complete any required background investigation

Physical Requirements
