Job summary

Munters seeks a Warehouse Clerk in Daleville, VA to handle storage, picking and issuing materials to the shop floor and to receive purchased items. The role requires basic computer use and forklift operation as needed, with attention to safety and accuracy.

We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where interns are valued members of the team and are given meaningful projects to work on.**Job Summary:**Responsible for the storage, picking and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials and for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies.**Essential Duties:*** Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.* Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor’s signature on pick lists and ABMs.* Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage.* Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes.* Sort recently received items and place these items in their designated storage areas.* Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.* Picks, pulls and packages/crates outgoing shipments.* Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments* Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).* Uses basic Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word.* Can operate a forklift when necessary.* Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.* Backs up production.**Other Duties:*** Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.* Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
