Job summary

Munters is seeking a Materials Handler to manage storage, pulling from stock, and issuing materials to the shop floor at the Amesbury, MA facility. The role involves forklift operations, receiving items, and supporting shipments.

Experienced candidates will handle box truck deliveries to production, maintain stock areas, and process outgoing paperwork. English fluency and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Qualified.
• Familiar with MRP system Glovia and MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Fluency in English (reading/writing).

Responsibilities

• Store, pull tickets, and issue raw materials to shop floor.
• Receive purchased items and supplies; support material handling with forklift.
• Deliver parts to cells and gather signatures; load Munters Shuttle Box truck.

Job Description

Responsible for the storage, pull ticket process and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials. and for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies. Support Material Handling with Forklift needs.

Essential Duties:

• Must be Forklift Qualified
• Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.
• Drive a box truck from warehouse to Amesbury facility with kit-ups and other material for production.
• Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.
• Sorts recently received items and place these items in their designated storage areas.
• Operator will perform material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner operating motorized forklifts throughout factory to move materials from staged / receiving areas to storage or point‑of‑use locations as needed.
• Includes the loading of Munters Shuttle Box truck with Kit-up Materials for delivery to Munters Amesbury, MA Assembly Cells.
• Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.
• Picks, pulls and packages/crates outgoing shipments.
• Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments.
• Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.

Other Duties:

• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Tools and Equipment:

• Pallet Jack, forklift, Box Truck, camera, scales and packing materials, tape measure, bander and have knowledge of crating.

Physical Demand:

• Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.
• Visual and aural acuity
• Listening

Training Requirements:

• Munters Orientation
• Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness

Hours of Work Required:

• Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).
• Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word.
• Must be Forklift Certified

Language Requirement:

• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required to ensure effective communication, comprehension of work instructions, and accurate documentation.
