Job summary

Munters is seeking a Materials Handler in Amesbury, MA. The role involves storage, pull ticket processing, and issuing raw materials to the shop floor, plus receipt of purchased items and supplies.

You will support material handling with forklift needs and operate a box truck for deliveries to production. Qualifications include forklift certification, proficiency with Glovia MRP, and experience with Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Forklift certified and able to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Experience using MRP systems (Glovia) to pull materials and track inventory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to handle pallet jack and box truck operations as part of material movement.

Responsibilities

• Store and pull raw materials and issue to shop floor per ABMs and BOMs.
• Receive purchased items and other supplies; maintain stockroom organization.
• Operate forklift and drive Munters shuttle box truck for material delivery to production.
• Deliver parts to cells, obtain signatures, and complete outgoing paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in stock areas; support cycle counts and inventory controls.

Support Material Handling with Forklift needs.Essential Duties:• Must be Forklift Qualified• Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.• Drive a box truck from warehouse to Amesbury facility with kit-ups and other material for production.• Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.• Sorts recently received items and place these items in their designated storage areas.• Operator will perform material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner operating motorized forklifts throughout factory to move materials from staged / receiving areas to storage or point-of-use locations as needed.• Includes the loading of Munters Shuttle Box truck with Kit-up Materials for delivery to Munters Amesbury, MA Assembly Cells.• Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.• Picks, pulls and packages/crates outgoing shipments.• Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments.• Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.Other Duties:• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
