Job summary

Sonetics Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move materials, manage inventory, and package shipments for customers both domestically and internationally. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effective processes in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, familiarity with NetSuite or similar MRP systems, and strong computer skills. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for several hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a light manufacturing environment
• Use of an automated MRP system required, NetSuite preferred
• Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred
• Experience with national and international shipping strongly preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs., climb and stoop on a regular basis, stand for 2-3 hours at a time
• Good computer skills including database, internet, Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail
• Safe use of pallet mover, hand truck, ladders

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials to maintain accurate inventory and keep materials available as needed. Includes verifying condition and accuracy of shipment, checking costs of overseas stock, updating paperwork, entering data, delivering material to QA or warehouse, notifying appropriate person of receipt.
• Help employees locate parts; issue parts to and receive parts from internal departments and record transactions in database to control movement of inventory and maintain accuracy.
• Place orders for assigned parts and services to meet production schedules, maintain desired inventory levels, and meet or reduce budgeted costs.
• Process RMA receiving to track flow of product.
• Dispose of scrap material and record transactions to make space in the warehouse for good inventory.
• Pull, package, ship, and track products accurately, cost effectively, and in a timely manner to international and domestic customers to maintain high customer service standards.
• Package and ship material to international and domestic vendors to meet new product development schedules.
• Provide shipping quotes to provide the customer with the most accurate price.
• Support Production as needed and other duties as assigned.
