Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to support inventory control, order processing, and customer service in our busy warehouse in Converse, TX. The role emphasizes accurate records, timely stock handling, and safety compliance.

The position requires lifting 25 pounds, a valid driver license, and forklift training within 90 days. Prior experience is a plus, and opportunities for growth and company benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Current and valid driver license with insurability per company policy.
• Forklift training and certification must be completed within 90 days; operator must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming shipments and match counts to packing slips.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours and ensure proper bin locations and barcodes.
• Assign locations and update the system for new parts; label and organize accordingly.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments; generate picking lists and stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and keep parts and paperwork organized.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are in resale condition.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Must complete company-provided forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days. All forklift operators must be at least 18 years old, as required by law.

Minimum Pay Rate
