Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for the Target Rock team in East Farmingdale, NY. You will maintain a finished goods inventory control system, kit materials as required, and support lean inventory practices in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school or equivalent, proficiency with Word/Excel, and experience with Oracle ERP and inventory control. Forklift experience is a plus, and a valid license is needed.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Oracle ERP experience a plus.
• Inventory control experience.
• Prior experience with machined parts preferred.
• Physical effort required in lifting and moving parts.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process finished goods and assemblies into stock and sustain Oracle ERP.
• Find suitable locations for finished goods inventory in a Lean environment.
• Perform daily tasks/research/maintenance of Oracle ERP system.
• Label, bag, and tag or prepare finished goods for storage.
• Perform cycle count and reconciliation of finished goods inventory.
• Pull valve kits in line with Inventory Control Supervisor's direction.
• Support assembly by providing requested material when necessary.
• Maintain organized filing for inspection reports and documentation.

Warehouse Clerk

We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our Target Rock team!

As Warehouse Clerk you will maintain an adequate finished goods inventory control system and kit finished goods material as required by company demand.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Salary/hourly rate: $18.50 to $21.00. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Your Challenge

• Process finished goods and assemblies into stock and sustain an accurate Oracle ERP system.
• Find suitable locations for all finished goods inventory in regard to a "Lean" environment
• Perform daily tasks/research/maintenance of Oracle ERP system.
• Label, bag, and tag or prepare finished goods inventory for short/long term storage.
• Perform cycle count and cycle count reconciliation of finished goods inventory.
• Pull valve kits in line with Inventory Control Supervisor's direction.
• Support assembly by providing requested material when necessary.
• Maintain an organized filing system for inspection reports/documentation deeming product as an acceptable finished good.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of finished goods inventory to maintain a high level of accuracy and having only relevant finished goods material on hand.
• Support raw stores inventory as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

What You Bring

• Must be a US citizen
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Oracle ERP experience a plus.
• Inventory control experience
• Prior experience with machined parts preferred
• Physical effort required in lifting in the movement of parts
• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license
• Forklift experience a plus
• Must be able to work independently and make own decisions.
