How You'll Perform the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Associate will ensure a quality product is being delivered to customers and received from suppliers. Primary functions include processing all paperwork necessary for shipping and receiving goods. Employees are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace at all times. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of materials, along with correct paperwork processing. Participation in GMP and food safety training is required. Employees must follow GMP policies and report all food safety concerns with urgency.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
2. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records.
3. Removes shipped materials from delivery vehicles and moves to the designated storage area.
4. Inspects outgoing trucks and documents inspection.
5. Loads outbound trucks to ensure stable loads.
6. Examines receiving documents for storage destination.
7. Prepares materials for orders and moves to the shipping area.
8. Documents information related to the receipt, storage, or distribution of materials.
9. Operates a forklift for moving or stacking materials.
10. Inspects assigned forklift truck and recharges batteries.
11. Follows the FIFO stock rotation policy.
12. Conforms to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
13. Conforms to Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures and policies to ensure products are suitable for direct food contact.
14. Inspects and reports any product quality or food safety issues to the Quality Assurance Manager or management team.

Paid weekly: $20
Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

What We Need From You

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
• Ability to work 9-10 hour days, Monday through Friday
• Ability to work overtime as required
