Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk for a 1st shift contract role in West Sacramento, C.A.

Summary:
The main function of a warehouse clerk is to clean medical devices and perform general warehouse cleaning duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect medical devices and perform general warehouse cleaning duties.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure safety compliance.
• Keep records of the use and/or damage of stock or handling equipment.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damages to supervisors.
• Assist or direct other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry to 2 years of experience required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player and detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
