Job summary

Custom Fabricating & Supplies (CFS) in Brea, CA is seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This full-time role covers Shipping/Receiving and Machine Operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a hands-on, team‑oriented crew. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and eager to learn multiple areas of the operation.

A high school diploma and basic math/computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate shipping/receiving duties, verify shipments, and process orders.

Warehouse Clerk – Shipping/Receiving & Machine Operations

What You’ll Do

This role supports both Shipping & Receiving and Machine Operations, depending on operational needs.

Machine Operation Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
• Use measuring devices to ensure product accuracy
• Read and complete work orders
• Calculate material usage
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
• Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately
• Check shipments against packing slips and work orders
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Transfer materials to proper warehouse locations
• Ship orders using customer-preferred carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight)
