Job summary

Schylling Inc. in Lakewood, Washington is seeking a Janitorial Associate to maintain clean, safe facilities and support warehouse operations. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste management, and assisting with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced setting.

Base hourly rate ranges from $19.00 to $21.00, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO and paid holidays, product discounts, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
• Must be able to report to work as assigned (eligible for overtime).
• Work on a team that supports each other to reach our customer/company goals.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours.
• Consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in the warehouse (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting).
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling per policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• General cleaning within the warehouse and adjacent areas.
• Paint walls and touch up within the building.
• Stock general supplies; assist with other warehouse functions (VAS, unloading, picking/shipping).
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Keep safety a priority.
