Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I in South Carolina to accurately process receiving, transfers, picks, packs and ships using RF scanning and warehouse software. The role includes loading/unloading batteries, restocking, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma, and a current forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills required.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• Perform general warehousing duties and housekeeping.
• Multi-task and transition between tasks as needed.
