Job summary

Interstate Batteries Altoona is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to perform distribution center tasks using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and WMS software. No experience is required, but Warehouse experience is a plus. You will load/unload batteries, restock, and maintain accuracy in inventory and warehouse health.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, with overtime as needed. PPE is provided, and a safe, clean work environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with good communication skills.
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication abilities.
• No experience required; warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process receiving, transfer, pick, pack and ship transactions.
• Load and unload batteries and restock inventory.
• Charge, test, clean, and date batteries; maintain a safe, clean warehouse.
• Operate a forklift with current certification; tag pallets for transfer.
